Salon: Where The Magic Happens (film short)
'Where The Magic Happens' tells the tale of Jack the magician when he is forced to enlist his ex-girlfriend, Remy, to be his assistant for his biggest gig yet, Trip Kingsley's 10th birthday party. All hell breaks loose when the handcuff trick goes wrong and they are stuck together through Remy's first date with potential Mr. Right. Things get awkward.

Whitney Ellis is a California girl with Cajun roots. She earned her BA from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television and a fellowship to study at USC’s MFA Acting Program. Whitney has appeared in several independent films and plays. Some of her favorite roles include Tessa in Charles Mee’s Summertime directed by Andrei Belgrader, Natalya in Turgenev’s A Month In The Country directed by Stephanie Shroyer and Titania in A Midsummer Saturday Night’s Fever Dream directed by Matt Walker. As a writer and director, her films have screened and won awards at various venues internationally including the Hammer Museum and the Newport Beach Film Festival. Having grown up watching I Love
