Salon: Opening the evening with a full-band three song set

Hailing from Los Angeles, Young Old Man is a 3-piece tribal blues band that focuses on creating rhythmic soundscapes by reacting to momentary influences - people in the audience, nature of the venue and new instruments. They translate personal narratives into soulful, beat-oriented music that engages and rocks hard. Each member's family hails from different parts of the world - Iran, West Africa and India - and so even though Runson, Neema and Kiran were born and raised in the US, their music draws from these traditions.
