Salon: Short story from her own works

As a writer, Lindsay has been published in The Briar Cliff Review, The Saigoneer, and in Narrative Magazine as Story of the Week. Her work has garnered the John Cooke Memorial Award from the University of New Orleans (for Excellence in the Study of Fiction), the Svenson Fiction Award for "The Ending of the Duck Joke", the Founders Award for Academic Achievement from New York University, the Veneble Herndon Senior Award (for thesis, New York University), the Fiction Award (as well for thesis), and the Generation Next Award from NYU's Entertainment Industries Council.

Following a BFA from New York University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans, her grasp of language has as well historically landed her in the U.S. Fulbright programs at Vietnam's Tien Giang University as a teacher, in a Nonfiction Editor position with the Ellipsis Literary Journal, and a position with the Fusion Film Festival.
