Salon: Two original tunes

Oklahoma native Jesse Cohen was born in a small suburban duplex in Bethany. Most of his early years were spent assimilating his parent's record collection and bookshelf.

At 5 years of age, Jesse started writing songs and remained in relative obscurity for the following 25 years until moving to Manhattan to archive over 20 years of work.
